"In their words" - a sell out!

The special "In their words" presentation went very well yesterday with all tickets being sold!

A highlight for me was the chance encounter with Dionys, who is the daughter of Joan Fanshawe, whose words I used extensively in my presentation. Joan was working in the Bunker on Battle of Britain Day and thankfully kept a diary, albeit illegally, in her gas mask case.

I am very grateful to everyone who attended, especially those who travelled to hear me speak again!

A special thank you to my friends from the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial museum at Manston for their continued support, and the handmade 'raid block' paperweight which now takes pride of place at home.
